Dianne provides us with a wealth of knowledge. As a certified and licensed to practice athletic trainer she has serviced as the National Team trainer for USA Swimming National Team from 1984 - 1995. In 1992 she was the trainer for the Olympic Swim Team. Currently, she travels with the National Open Water Swimming team for major competition and has done so since 1995. Involved in swimming since 1977, as a National official, Sports Medicine Society Member, Sports Medicine Council and Athletic Trainer. Additionally, services as an instructor in the American Red Cross for 32 years as WSL, LGL, CPR, First Aid and Sports Safety trainer. She has served as athletic trainer and High School math teacher for 24 years in the Newport News/Hampton Public Schools and currently teachers math at James Blair Middle School (6th grade). Dianne is currently at James Blair, where she is Certified and Licensed to practice Athletic training.

The California Department of Education released the results of Academic Performance and Physical

Fitness testing they have done. The study says the more fit the child the better the test scores. We often get requests for information that "proves" this connection that we all intuitively know.
